Hunt 3000 acres of private land near Caneyville that is managed for quality deer and turkey hunts Bluegrass state of Kentucky. All game is 100% wild, no fences, no guarantees. We enjoy an average buck to doe ratio of around 3 to 1. Strict enforcement of 120" minimum for harvested bucks (anything less will carry a fine of $500). Calling and attractant scents work well on our areas. Kentucky is second in the nation in B & C bucks per square mile. Our management program has been in place for over 6 years. Shot opportunity for deer ran approximately 70% for muzzleloader and 100% for archery during the rut (shooter bucks only). Our turkey shot opportunity was 90% with an 85% harvest rate.
