ILLINOIS

Outfitter #1

This outfitter is located in the southernmost part of Illinois in Pope County near Simpson in the fertile Ohio river bottom area. Their properties consist of an ideal environment for holding trophy whitetail. The natural makeup of the land coupled with extensive time and effort they put into enhancing their properties will provide the hunter with the best trophy hunting opportunity. They have 11,000+ acres of privately managed land consisting of crops, white oak acorn forests, swamps, sloughs and honeysuckle thickets located in and around the Ohio River bottom. In addition, a fertile soil mixed with an abundance of natural minerals has allowed the outfitter to produce rich food plots creating a sanctuary for reclusive monster bucks. A multitude of secret food plot mixes are interspersed throughout the properties which serve to maintain and enhance their big buck population. This outfitter's area has produced non-typical bucks that have scored up to 250". They have also had typical bucks that have scored over 200" Boone & Crockett (B&C). The major reason for the high scoring racks could be the abundance of quarries and limestone rock mines which aides in the high amount of nutrients and minerals accessible to the bucks, resulting in some of the largest whitetail in the country. This outfitter's property is quality deer managed (QDM) ---- bucks must score 130" minimum to be harvested ---- $1000 management fee for anything shot below that. All hunting property is scouted thoroughly throughout the year to maximize the hunters chances of harvesting a trophy buck of a lifetime! They have over 300 lock-on and ladder stands ready and in position. The majority of stands are set up between 17-20' in height. If you would like to hunt higher, you're welcome to bring along your climber stand. If one of our hunters sees a large animal crossing a field or ravine our guides will help him set up for a chance to harvest that animal. This outfitter has extremely high client return rate. The properties also have a booming turkey population (Easterner) and with managed private farm areas you're chances are excellent to harvest a large Spring gobbler. Come hunt with us with your weapon of choice ..... archery, muzzleloader or shotgun.
