Welcome to Northern Outdoor Lodge which is located in the Eastern part of beautiful New Brunswick, Canada, near Saint John N.B. We cater to smaller groups of hunters which gives our clients a more personalized hunting experience. The area in which we are located is best known for its abundant supply of black bears and also whitetail and moose.
Living in this area all our lives, we have an excellent knowledge of the movement and feeding habits of the black bear. The hunting area consists of over 30,000 acres of prime wilderness . Every year we have fabulous success on large trophy bears. We offer Spring and Fall hunts and re-bait our sites every day . Each bait site is located 3-4 miles apart. All transportation to/from the hunting area is provided by us..there are no long walks. We accommodate for all types of hunts whether you hunt with a rifle or bow. We also take into consideration whether you are left/right handed. For the bow hunter, our stands are set up for a 20 yard shot. For the rifle hunter, most stands are set up 50 yards or less, this way you can size up the bears easier. Every year there are many trophy Whitetail taken in our area. These big Canadian Whitetail have an average weight of 250-350 lbs. Not only do they have large bodies but they also can carry massive racks of antlers. Mild winters over the past few years and the lack of hunting pressure have allowed our deer herd to reach maturity quite easily. Deer movement plays a major role in how we hunt. We hunt from good comfortable, permanent deer stands. We've taken several B/C scoring bucks this past season.We use hand held radios in case you get your bear early or need to get in contact with your guide. In the Spring and early Fall you can hunt and fish on the same trip...no extra charge for fishing, fishing license is required ($25 for 7-day license).

Initial deposit - $750 required to book hunt, remainder due upon arrival (cash, |

All bow hunters must show proof of having completed a hunter education safety course. |
|
No pistols or crossbows allowed in N.B. Canada. |
|
Blaze orange vest/hat are mandatory during all Fall hunts. |
